A mile from the ballpark, the arena and the convention floor
Rip Valley sits at the top of downtown Phoenix. Everything that brings crowds into the city — Diamondbacks and Suns games, conventions, touring shows — is a short walk or a couple of light-rail stops south of our door. Here's the map in words.
Game day
Both big-league buildings are about a mile straight down the street — a 20-minute walk, a five-minute rideshare, or two light-rail stops to the Downtown Hub and a few blocks on foot. Come by before first pitch or tip-off; we're open until 8 most nights.
Chase Field

The D-backs' retractable-roof ballpark. Home games April through September, plus concerts and events in the off-season.

Three buildings on either side of 3rd Street. From the North Building, walk straight up 3rd Street to Roosevelt and turn left — we're a few doors down.

The Cactus League plays late February through late March at ten parks around the Valley — 15 MLB teams. Downtown Phoenix sits in the middle of the map, so we're an easy stop on the way to or from a game.
Closest to us: American Family Fields of Phoenix (Brewers, 3600 N 51st Ave) and Tempe Diablo Stadium (Angels, 2200 W Alameda Dr, Tempe) are each roughly 15–20 minutes by car. East Valley: Scottsdale Stadium (Giants), Salt River Fields at Talking Stick (Diamondbacks & Rockies), Sloan Park (Cubs) and Hohokam Stadium (Athletics) run about 20–30 minutes. West Valley: Camelback Ranch (Dodgers & White Sox), Peoria Sports Complex (Padres & Mariners), Goodyear Ballpark (Reds & Guardians) and Surprise Stadium (Royals & Rangers) are 25–45 minutes depending on traffic.

Walking times above are from our door. The light rail runs from the Roosevelt/Central station down to the Downtown Hub in a few minutes, with the Convention Center, arena and ballpark a short walk from there — details on Parking & getting here.
